This was the first town that I taught from Polish Paths project. I know nothing about it, well I know nothing about every town I taught, and I was feeling so excited. So I was paired with 2 people, Anna (Hongkong) and Asser (Egypt), we met at centralna station at the end of first week to went to Skaryszew. We got up the train, and I have no idea what station we should got off. Dagmara and Stasiek, our new friends from Polish Paths orginizing commitee, told us we should got off at the last station. Ok. Last Station. Got it. Aaaand we turned up getting anxious everytime the train stops. But we managed to take pictures thankfully.

Yep, that's me. The blackest one.

    Oh it's Radom!
    Beautiful station

After we arrived, we were picked up by two people. They introduce themselves as Kacper (read: kasper) and Weronika (read:veronika, she's very pretty!). I thought they were students or interns at school, turned out Kacper's Dad is owner the school. The school is more like course or summer school, they had karate class, painting class, zumba class and our class. So the first thing we asked is "how to pronounce the name of this town again?" "Skaryszew" "how?" "Skerishef" "Ohh". Three days passed and we (I) still pronounced it wrong. We went to pizza place for dinner. Honestly, it feels awkward at first because even me, Anna and Asser never had a real conversation before. So stranger between stranger. But Weronika warmed up the situation because she knows about a lot of things and news around the world, that what got us to talk. Once again cursing myself for being so blind about what's happening in this world we live in. Our tummy was full, and Weronika said we had to go to a wedding party because Kacper's Dad were playing music there. When we got there, that place was full of people. I started to worry because...well not everyone likes differences. I don't know how people here feel about muslims and all. The wedding was held in a house with big hall, and people hanging out n the terrace. As soon as they introduced us, they greeted us really well. They offered us drinks (yes we took the coke), asked us to dance, to sing, to add their snapchat (It was hype af)
People here turned out one of the kindest and warmest people I've ever met. I was suprise, good suprise.

    Skaryszew coat of arms
Park in the center of town (we passed this everyday)

    First day starts!
    "What do we do today?"
"Just introduce yourself, and tell a little bit about your country"
"After that they will take you for a walk"
Whoa. Thank God. Anna and I was nervous about this first day. We got in, saw the room and thought....oh it's big (anxious tickling). There were up to 15 students from 3 to 9 years old I guess. We stood in front of class one by one and we had translator, which is Kacper. For your information, not all people can speak english in Poland, same here like in Indonesia, but I think the percentage is bigger. I used my first polish word "Cześć" means Hello to greet the kids, and I think I pronounced it wrong :D. First day was great, kids were calm and paying attention. So, off we went for a walk!

Skaryszew is well-known for its best quality horses. Every year, there's a big national market, and people coming from all Poland county. That's why there are a lot of horse-breeding business here and there is a giant pony statue at the park. It wouldn't complete if we don't visit one of them, eh?

    Cemetery we passed by

It says "You're not in town/residence area anymore"

Cutie Nikodem gave Asser flowers he picked. And Amelka went jealous

The street we had to walk, like in Mr. Bean's Holiday

    Blooming flowers (and me)

Anna wanted to take different background

    The Barn
"This girl makes my back itchy"

I think I can't fit Skaryszew in one post. You can say that this town is the second best town that I've been in Poland for the project. It's not like little town I imagined I will find in Europe, but some are better. Especially the people :) I'll look onto that on part two. Nighty!
